Join us in the tasting room at Blenheim Vineyards and meet the artist, Richard White on Sunday, July 26th from 2-4pm. His artwork will be on display and available for purchase.

We will have snacks and wine for sale by the glass, bottle, and flights.

Photography has become one of the main ways Richard White connects with the world around him. Based in Richmond, he spends much of his free time with a camera in hand.

After 12 years in Virginia, he enjoys photographing the region’s cities, small towns, rural roads, quiet landscapes, and dark skies. Along the way, photography has also helped him meet people, form friendships, and share the experience of exploring new places. His work is shaped by curiosity and the simple act of slowing down to notice scenes that might otherwise be overlooked. 

Richard works mostly with film, using 35mm, medium format, and large format cameras to photograph landscapes at a slower, more deliberate pace. Developing and scanning his own film is an important part of his process and keeps him connected to each image from the moment it is made. When photographing after dark, he works digitally to capture the detail and scale of the night sky.
