Painted Series 2024 Release!

Celebrate the newest chapter of Blenheim’s most iconic collection with the 2024 Painted Series wines, featuring Painted White and Painted Red, two expressive blends crafted to capture the spirit of the season.

Each Painted Series vintage pairs winemaking artistry with music and visual storytelling. Curated by Dave Matthews and crafted by winemaker Kirsty Harmon, these wines reflect the best of Blenheim’s vineyards, and this year’s release is especially meaningful. For the first time, the label artwork was created by Val Matthews, Dave’s mother. Her original illustration (circa 1967) turns every bottle into a collectible piece of Blenheim history.

2024 Painted Red: A bold, structured red blend layered with depth and savory elegance.

Blend: 46% Cabernet Franc, 21% Merlot, 16% Petit Verdot, 12% Syrah, 5% Malbec
Vineyards: Seaview, Deer Ridge, O’Brien, Reed, Tiverton, Mount Juliet

Tasting Notes: dark berries, plum, savory spice, structured finish

2024 Painted White: A beautifully textured white blend balancing richness with bright lift.

Blend: 47% Chardonnay, 23% Viognier, 21% Roussanne, 9% Pinot Noir
Vineyards: Seaview, Blenheim, Claim, Tiverton
Tasting Notes: pear, lemon curd, soft spice, rounded texture

To celebrate the release, we’ve also introduced new Painted Series merch, including:

Each piece features the 2024 label artwork on the back and Blenheim Vineyards on the front. 

With every 2024 Painted Series order, you’ll receive a limited-run handbill, with ten signed by Dave and distributed randomly.

We’re also offering a limited-edition Painted White poster. The posters are hand screen printed  and individually numbered. The posters are only available for purchase in the tasting room while supplies last.
