Oenoverse Club
[ee-nuh-verse]
The Oenoverse Club is changing, and we wanted you to hear it from us first.
The regular cadence of events at Blenheim is wrapping up, and wine packs won’t be coming on a schedule anymore. You’re always welcome at Blenheim Vineyards, it’s still all love. What we’ve built together gave us the confidence to go further, and that’s exactly what we’re doing.
Oenoverse Club is an access and opportunity initiative, dedicated to expanding opportunity in and through the Virginia wine industry.
Oenoverse exists to create access and opportunity in and through Virginia wine. For five years, in partnership with our friends at The Veraison Project, we’ve been doing that through the club, Oeno Camp, Two Up Wine Down, and a lot of work behind the scenes. Oeno Camp alumni are making wine, writing for Jancis Robinson, critiquing for Decanter, and pursuing PhDs following threads they first picked up at camp. Sometimes, when you build something on belief, you can’t always see what it’s going to become. As it turns out, you also can’t stop it 🙂
Oenoverse aims to create and develop wider diversity in the Virginia wine industry.
Leaders and wine enthusiasts within historically excluded and underrepresented communities have been identified and they will inform and lead the project’s outreach efforts.
