FOOD TRUCKS + UPCOMING EVENTS

ART SHOW: BARBARA VENERUS

Sunday, April, 8th – June 8th, 2018: 1-3pm Please join us in the Tasting Room to view some new work by Barbara Venerus!
Barbara Venerus is a local, self-taught artist whose medium is paper collage. She has been curating paper for 25 years for her ever-evolving pieces.

How all of those who have come before us have shaped the present is a common thread through the work Barbara creates. She uses subject matter, along with vintage and one-of-a-kind papers, to rework historic norms into a modern narrative that advocates for a deeper understanding of, and a hopeful moving toward, equality for all. The goal of each collage is for the past and present to exist in the same moment, and for the viewer to contemplate these two very different realities.

IMPORTANT UPDATE TO OUR PET-FRIENDLY POLICY

UPDATE TO OUR PET-FRIENDLY POLICY

It is with great regret that we must change to our long-standing, dog-friendly policy for our tasting room. This change is forced upon us by a recent letter from the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services informing our winery and others that Virginia laws governing the production, storage, and serving of food – to include beverages – prohibits the presence of animals.

We would like to note that fully trained, ADA-compliant service animals continue to be permitted. This does not include emotional support animals. We would also note that our leashed and friendly four-legged friends are still permitted on our grounds – simply not inside any of our buildings.
